the company
Founded in 1939, Maillard-Frères SA specializes in the drilling, enlarging and turning operations of Ruby, Sapphire, Advanced Ceramics and Tungsten Carbide parts. Maillard-Frères SA was a family owned business until the end of 2008 when it was bought by Ceramaret SA, a company specialized in the manufacture of small precision parts in Advanced Ceramics, Ruby and Sapphire.

Maillard-Frères SA employs about 15 people and remains independent, but is supported by its parent company, for technical and commercial services. It follows the same practices, based on quality, security within the working environment and commitment to the adherence to environmental legislation in order to limit any possible environmental impact directly linked to its activities. The synergy between both companies is used to offer a wide range of high quality products in hard materials for various watch-making and industrial applications.

Maillard-Frères SA is one of the only remaining Swiss companies left in its specialty.
